An archery event was organized within the scope of the Active Campus Project

An archery event was held as part of the physical activity events organized under the “Active Campus” project conducted by Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Faculty of Sports Sciences. The program held in the archery hall of the MAKÜ Sports Hall attracted great interest from both students and academic and administrative staff.

During the event, practical training on basic archery techniques was provided to participants by Dr. Mine Ömercioğlu, a faculty member of the Faculty of Sports Sciences and a former national archer. Participants had the opportunity to both engage in sports and get to know the archery branch closely during the fun and educational moments of the event.

It was stated that the events carried out within the framework of the “Active Campus” initiative led by the Faculty of Sports Sciences will continue every week with different sports branches and physical activity applications.
